Get your wording right for the Estonian market

Are you ready to bring your product or service to the Estonian market?

Before making the announcement, there is one more step: getting your wording right.

Whether you need a creative and witty translation or a copy from scratch, you’ve come to the right place.

Marketing and website copy can be challenging: you need to know your audience first.

There are two options: translation or copywriting.

Translation is best for general content where the ideas can be transferred from one to another while, of course, taking into account all cultural specifics and expressions, and writing the text to sound like it was written by a local.

Copywriting is ideal for anything more complex – slogans or creative copy where every joke or saying matters. Or if you don’t have a source text to begin with.

Let's put a face to the name

I am Margret, an Estonian translator and copywriter based in Tallinn.

My career in the translation industry has involved a variety of texts, ranging from legal to marketing. However, my absolute favourite projects are website and app localizations where you really can help a product come alive on a new market. Even before becoming a translator, my work has always involved writing: I’ve also written articles for newspapers and been in charge of newsletters and social media posts at various organizations.

I hold an MA in Translation from the University of Tartu, and a BA in Classical Studies with a minor in Sociology from the University of British Columbia.
